The Island That Has It All

Imagine a place where history, culture and cosmopolitan living all combine. The Maltese Islands promise exactly that, and we believe it is these factors that have made them extremely popular for centuries (and more!).

Malta, the largest of the three main islands within the Maltese archipelago, is a hive of activity with plenty to offer all sorts of travellers. If you hope to get away from it all, the beautiful beaches and sprawling countryside will provide you with ample place to do so. Meanwhile, if you crave great shopping, vibrant nightlife options, an eclectic culture, delicious food and exciting activities for all the family, then you will be spoilt for choice in St Julian’s, Sliema and Valletta.

img-content-maltaMalta’s history actually dates back thousands of years, and the impressive temples – which you can visit during your stay – are testament to just how long the island has been inhabited. If you enjoy stepping back in time, then Mdina, the Three Cities and Valletta will all enrich your stay with their many museums and sites of interest. Meanwhile, Gozo and Comino – Malta’s two sister islands – have plenty to offer too, and are wonderful for a day trip away from it all.

Alternatively, if adventure and the great outdoors tickle your fancy, then why not swim beneath the surface? The sea around Malta is world-famous for its incredible sights and rich wildlife, and scuba diving and snorkelling courses are available for all abilities.

With all of that in mind, we really do look forward to welcoming you to beautiful Malta soon. To book your stay at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel in St Julian’s, kindly click here.
