With sunlight streaming through the windows and open views of the sea, this is one of the most popular spaces at the Vivaldi. Of course, as the hotel’s main restaurant and the namesake of celebrated Italian musician Antonio Vivaldi, Antonio’s has a lot to live up to – and it succeeds.
From early in the morning when the space comes alive for breakfast, you will be spoilt for choice. The substantial buffet breakfast offers a spread that includes fruit and cereals, fresh bread and pastries, yoghurts, hot items including sausages, bacon and beans, fresh eggs (whether you want them scrambled, sunny-side up or in an omelette) and juices, teas and coffee. There is a fantastic range whether you’re planning to stick to a healthy regime, or hoping to indulge in something a little special.
For dinner, Antonio’s opens its doors once again for its popular buffet. There is always a huge selection on offer to suit all tastes, from healthy options such as soup and salads, to tasty pasta and main dishes, a carved-meat option and a table of homemade desserts. Of course, to round off there is an excellent wine selection to choose from.
Meanwhile, for something a little different, Antonio’s is regularly open for themed evenings during summer months – such as Maltese, Italian and Spanish nights. Throughout the year we also host a popular Sunday lunch carvery, with a lavish selection the whole family will love, as well as animation to keep the little ones entertained.
